“I am a current student and freelance sound designer aspiring to produce high-quality audio production and sound design services for a variety of media.”
But what sets me apart? What are my motivations? What can I bring to the table?
As a student in audio, I consistently seek opportunities to utilize my distinctive combination of skills and experiences.
I always strive to make the best product on all the work that I do. I am constantly motivated by a drive to do my best for the Lord, ultimately glorifying Him by doing the work that He has called me to do. Beyond that, my motivation comes purely from my love for the craft! I have never felt like I was working (in a bad way) when it comes to audio.
My knowledge in A/V networking, supported by my Dante Level 1 certification and experience in live sound with organizations like Answers in Genesis, Production Services Group, and Resound Radio, provides me with a solid technical background.
Additionally, my two years studying music enhance my capacity to mix audio effectively, both live and during post-production, offering me a creative and musical perspective on sound work.
Being an academic member of the Cinema Audio Society allows me to tap into a broad network of film audio professionals and gain valuable industry insights, reading the CAS Quarterly and attending conferences.
I am also focused on continuing to grow in my profession, advancing my mixing capabilities, specifically in post-production work, and working on my Dante Level 2 certification.
Through my internships and jobs, collaborative projects, and practical A/V experience, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, making me adaptable and committed.
